A very beautiful place to stay🏠..nice view and the interior was awesome…😍 Every part in the house was well planned and designed.. I should really thank the host and family…they were very welcoming and caring 😊 Food they cook was very tasty, all homemade with love..❤️ Even though our check-in time was very early in the morning…they happily accepted and invited us… waiting to meet them again.. planning to visit again with my family..😊 I would definitely recommend this homestay to my friends and family members as I felt this would be the best place to chill and enjoy.

Oyster Marris is located on the sea-facing side of a cliff in Thiruvallam and hence offers breezy and cool rooms with glimpses of the Arabian Sea. OMH is a brand new home, tastefully done, with super clean rooms and tons of privacy for the guests. You could reach OMH from Kovalam or the City well under 20 mins on a busy day. The government-owned, Chitranjali Film Studio is a brisk walk from here. The USP of the homestay is not the proximity to Kovalam or the canoeing in the Karamana river, but the amazing super hosts – Ashwathy and Senthil, who are trained journos and passionate chefs. It’s a foodies paradise; a roller coaster ride for the taste buds; from the formal traditional Kerala Sadyas (feast) to the quirky street foods of Malabar and Southern Kerala, the vegetarian, non-vegetarian (seafood and meat) signature dishes – you will love it all. If there was a Michelin star for homestays, Ashwathy, at Oyster Marris, would win that hands-down. Ashwathy and Senthil are well-travelled and fully embrace the diversities their guests represent. The safety and privacy of a homestay are reassuring. It connects with one at various levels, if you are in Kerala for an experience of a lifetime, be it cultural, travel, culinary and to touch its soul – stay in a homestay, you will never regret the decision. We chose Oyster Marris and we were fortunate to have spent seven days with an amazing family.
